Job Description:

As a Local CDL A Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting liquid bulk materials within a designated local area or radius, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while returning home daily.

This position operates out of our Indianapolis terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate both tank wagons and tractor-trailers, adapting to daily assignments as needed.
2. Work up to 6 days a week based on business demand.
3. Safely transport liquid bulk materials to and from customer locations within the local area.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
5. Load and unload tanker trucks, sometimes using hoses or pumps, while following all safety protocols.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and any incidents.
7. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
8. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
9. Maintain a steady workload by meeting required mileage or hours to contribute to operational success.
10. Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
11. At least 23 years of age.
12. Compliance with all DOT requirements.
13. A clean driving record demonstrating a commitment to safety and excellence.
14. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading tanker trucks.
