Job summary

The Macomb Group, a leading distributor of Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, seeks a full-time Class B Driver for its Greensboro, NC location. You will perform local deliveries and support loading/unloading, with day shifts and OT on some Saturdays.

Ideal candidates hold a Class B license, a DOT certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to read safety rules and procedures. Prior PVF knowledge is a plus, and you should be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Class B License required.
• DOT Certification required.
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally.
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepares receipts for load pickup
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed
