Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Bend, OR is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver to transport goods between locations. You will safely pick up items, load/unload, plan routes, and maintain accurate delivery records while providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities include following safety standards, performing basic vehicle checks, and completing all paperwork promptly. The role may require working varied hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Proven delivery driver or similar experience.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Reliable and punctual with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up items from designated locations and deliver them on schedule.
• Load and unload cargo securely and use proper handling techniques.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel use.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Report issues and accidents to proper personnel.
• Provide courteous service to customers at pickup and delivery points.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including hours of service and hazmat handling where applicable.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
