Job summary

Paycom in Buffalo, TX is seeking an experienced CDL driver to support our supply chain logistics with safe, timely deliveries. The role requires operating Class A or B trucks, following schedules, and maintaining vehicle condition.

You will transport goods between manufacturing plants and distribution centers, document driving hours, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Day shifts, full-time, on-site position with room for reliable, safety-minded drivers.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a truck driver.
• Ability to drive long hours and meet schedules.
• Extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Adaptability to handle unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Assist in the yard pulling loads and assisting customers
• Other duties as assigned
