Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Brandywine, MD is seeking a Local CDL A Delivery Driver. You'll build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more.

Local routes and day shifts mean you’re home every day, with an early start and a physically demanding but rewarding role. You'll unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and earn a guaranteed minimum weekly pay.

Qualifications

Local CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 7900 Cedarville Rd, Brandywine MD

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

5 day work week between Monday - Saturday

Start time

Between the hours of 1:00am-4:00 am-until route is finished

Pay

Guaranteed minimum of $1200/ week

• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
