Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Aberdeen, MD, is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to service local routes and deliver food products to various customers. Expect to unload up to 100 lbs per stop, use a ramp/two-wheeler, and build strong customer relationships. Schedule includes 5 days/week with start times from 1 AM to 4 AM, and you are home every evening.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.

• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using ramp/two-wheeler.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure timely deliveries.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location : 504 Advantage Ave, Aberdeen MD

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule : 5 day work week between Monday - Saturday, Start time 1AM-4AM until route finish
HOME EVERY EVENING

Pay : Guaranteed minimum of $1200/ week
Daily base pay, plus component pay

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
