Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety-conscious team in Greenbrier, TN. The route runs from Greenbrier, TN to Nashville, TN and averages 55 hours per week.

Drivers earn $90,000-$120,000 per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and weekly home time. Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Proficiency with mobile applications and basic computer software.
• Ability to pass respirator fit test and PFT.
• Employees must be clean-shaven to ensure respirator seal.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor-trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and proper utilization of units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste safely and secures loads.
• Placards vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, and vehicle inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Proficiency with mobile applications and basic computer software
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and pulmonary function test (PFT)
• Employees must be clean-shaven or maintain a mustache only, to ensure a proper respirator seal
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• 3 months or more of tanker experience
