48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Local Driver in Walterboro, SC. You’ll enjoy competitive pay, weekends off, and home daily with no touch freight. The role pays $23.00/hr with a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days).

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm. Requires CDL-A, 23+ years old, DOT medical clearance, and a clean PSP and driving record. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the past year.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Valid CDL-A license to operate a commercial vehicle.
• DOT physical from a nationally registered DOT-approved physician.

Overview

As a Local Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.00/hr., plus a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!($2,500 paid at 30 days and $2,500 paid at 90 days

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles of Walterboro

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
