48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver in Columbus, OH to haul local truckload deliveries with no touch freight and home daily. You will operate an automatic 53' truck on 8–12 hour shifts, typically 2–5 routes per shift within ~150 miles, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Earn $27.00–$30.00/hr with a $5k sign-on and benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO. CDL-A, DOT and background checks required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old or older.
• Valid CDL to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• DOT physical clearance by a certified DOT physician.
• No disqualifications to drive on record.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP score 10 or below in past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, or similar is preferred.
• Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$27.00-30.00/hr with $5,000 sign on bonus ($2,500 paid at 30 days, $2,500 portion paid at 90 days)

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am start

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-5 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 8-12hours shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
