Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Memphis, TN for local pallet deliveries with no touch freight. Earn $23.50 per hour, enjoy weekends off, and be home daily.

The role involves local truckload deliveries, drop and hook, and driving a 53’ automatic truck for assigned shifts. Must meet CDL-A, DOT, and English proficiency requirements to join our team.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required and valid.
• 1+ year CDL-A experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• PSP score 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.50/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am Start Time

What You’ll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts

What You’ll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
