Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group is seeking a Class A CDL driver in Chesapeake, VA for full-time routes with home daily. The role requires a valid Class A license and at least one year of driving experience, and applicants must be 21 or older. Starting pay is $63,000 with annual ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 on a route.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience with a commercial license.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts.
• Operate powered industrial trucks such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Handle return pickups, payments, and paperwork; complete delivery documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position responsibilities:

• The Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

• As a Class A Driver, you must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts

• You will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

• Additionally, you will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Must possess a Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
