Job summary

J Rose Logistics in the Midwest is looking for qualified CDL-A tractor-trailer drivers. Home most nights, with occasional longer runs; operate in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana delivering dry van freight for a non-grocery retail chain, typically 3–4 stops per load and touch freight.

Earn base mileage pay of $0.75 per mile (includes $0.10 performance bonus), orientation pay, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus plus full health benefits and PTO.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of Chicago, IL.

Job description

Pay & Bonuses

• Base Mileage Pay: $0.75 per mile (Includes $0.10/mile performance bonus)
• Average Earnings: Top 25% of drivers on this fleet earn $2,000 weekly / $104,000 annually
• Average Mileage: 1,900 – 2,000 miles/week
• Additional Pay:
  • Stop Pay: $20 per stop
  • Unload Pay: $35 per pallet jack unload (Separate rates apply for occasional hand unloads)
  • Orientation Pay: $500
  • Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

Job Details & Home Time

• Home Time: Home most nights (Occasional 10-hour rest breaks required on the road)
• Operating Area: Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana
• Freight: Dry van for a non-grocery retail chain
• Deliveries: Multi-stop freight (3–4 stops per load)
• Touch Freight: Driver unload at delivery locations using liftgate trailers and pallet jacks; occasional hand unloads required
