Job summary

J Rose Logistics is seeking a driver for regional routes in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. You will transport dry van freight for a non-grocery retail chain, handling 3–4 stops per load and unloading with a pallet jack and liftgate at delivery sites.

Home time is most nights, with occasional 10-hour rest breaks on the road. Benefits include full health coverage, PTO, and holiday pay. CDL-A license and 12+ months of experience required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-stop freight (3–4 stops per load).
• Driver unload at delivery locations using liftgate trailers and pallet jacks; occasional hand unloads.
• Safety and compliance with all DOT regulations.

Job description

Pay & Bonuses

• Base Mileage Pay: $0.75 per mile (Includes $0.10/mile performance bonus)
• Average Earnings: Top 25% of drivers on this fleet earn $2,000 weekly / $104,000 annually
• Average Mileage: 1,900 – 2,000 miles/week
• Additional Pay:
  • Stop Pay: $20 per stop
  • Unload Pay: $35 per pallet jack unload (Separate rates apply for occasional hand unloads)
  • Orientation Pay: $500
  • Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
