Job summary

Meridian Waste is seeking a Class A Tractor Trailer Driver to safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure the vehicle complies with safety standards and regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects in a timely manner.

The role requires a Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement and at least two years of heavy truck experience, plus excellent reading and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow safety policies and logs.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in daily reports.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspection to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer on designated routes to disposal site.
• Dispose of materials at designated facility following safety policies.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in accordance with company standards; report issues.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and Vehicle Condition Reports as required.
• Adhere to all safety policies and company rules; work in a fast-paced environment.
