Job summary

InterChange Express, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Commercial Driver – Local to operate from our Front Royal, VA IPS Warehouse. You will safely drive 53’ dry van or reefer, support local transportation operations, and report to the Regional Supervisor in a role that offers home weekends and no forced dispatch.

The position requires CDL-A, a current medical certificate, and the ability to handle paperwork and physical duties. Join a growth‑minded team with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Must hold a current CDL-A with a driving record acceptable to company insurance carrier.
Must hold a current Medical Examiners Certificate.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds at shoulder height.
Ability to read and write well enough to complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate assigned CMV in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Support local transportation operations based from Front Royal/Winchester area.
Operate 53’ dry van or reefer, and intermodal containers as assigned.
Complete paperwork, logs and shipping documents accurately.
Adhere to safety rules and foster positive interactions with customers.
