Job summary

InterChange Express, Inc. is looking for a Class A CDL Commercial Driver for local Front Royal, VA operations. The role requires safe operation of 53’ trailers and intermodal handling from the IPS Warehouse area, reporting to the Regional Supervisor.

Pay is 59.5 cents per mile and/or $22–24.00 per hour, with benefits including paid vacation and a 401K. Local opportunities with growth potential are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CDL-A with an acceptable driving record.
• Must hold a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds at shoulder height.
• Ability to read and write well enough to complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all laws and regulations.
• Support local transportation operations based from Front Royal/Winchester area; flexible to a wide range of assignments while on-duty.
• Operate 53’ dry van or reefer, and intermodal containers as needed.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately; maintain logs and shipping documents.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies; foster professional relationships with customers and staff.
• Perform duties efficiently to promote company growth and profitability.
• Other duties as assigned.
