Job summary

J Rose Logistics is seeking CDL-A drivers for routes in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Successful candidates will handle dry van freight for a non-grocery retail chain, performing multi-stop deliveries (3–4 stops per load) with liftgate-assisted unloading and occasional hand unloads.

Home time is typically most nights, with regional operating area described above. Drivers earn competitive pay with bonuses and benefits, including health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-stop freight (3–4 stops per load).
• Driver unload at delivery locations using liftgate trailers and pallet jacks; occasional hand unloads.
• Touch freight responsibilities include unloading pallets at customer sites.

Pay & Bonuses

• Base Mileage Pay: $0.75 per mile (Includes $0.10/mile performance bonus)
• Average Earnings: Top 25% of drivers on this fleet earn $2,000 weekly / $104,000 annually
• Average Mileage: 1,900 – 2,000 miles/week
• Additional Pay:
  • Stop Pay: $20 per stop
  • Unload Pay: $35 per pallet jack unload (Separate rates apply for occasional hand unloads)
  • Orientation Pay: $500
  • Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

• Home Time: Home most nights (Occasional 10‑hour rest breaks required on the road)
