Job summary

InterChange Group, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Commercial Driver for local and regional routes based from Harrisonburg, VA. The role offers home time daily or nightly with 150–250 mile regional runs, and a pay rate of 0.595 cents per mile or $24 per hour where applicable.

The driver will operate safely, complete required paperwork, and comply with federal/state/local laws. Pre-employment checks and a Medical Examiner's Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CDL-A with a driving record acceptable to company insurance carrier.
• Must hold a current Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds at shoulder height.
• Ability to read and write well enough to understand and complete required documentation.
• Pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned commercial vehicle safely in full compliance with all federal, state and local laws/regulations.
• Support Local/Regional transportation operations based from the Harrisonburg terminal.
• Regional runs typically 150–250 miles with daily/nightly home time.
• Complete and submit required paperwork, logs, and shipping documents as requested.
• Adhere to safety rules and use electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and InterChange staff.
