Job summary

Miller Bros. Const., Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver based in Plain City to transport equipment, materials, tools, and supplies for Central Ohio projects.

The role involves pre-trip/post-trip inspections, safe loading, route planning, and documentation while maintaining professional service to field operations. The driver will operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles, coordinating with dispatch and project teams to meet changing demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL required; endorsements as appropriate for assigned vehicles preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification and ability to meet driver-qualification requirements required.

Responsibilities

• Safety FIRST in all driving, loading, unloading, securement, and delivery activities.
• Transport equipment, materials, parts, tools, and supplies in support of project and Equipment Group needs.
• Operate assigned commercial vehicles and trailers safely, legally, efficiently, and professionally.
• Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and promptly report defects or damage.
• Load, position, secure, inspect, and unload cargo and equipment using approved methods and devices.
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, delivery records, permits, receipts, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate schedules, routes, jobsite access, delivery priorities, and changing project demands with appropriate personnel.
• Protect company vehicles, trailers, equipment, materials, fuel cards, permits, and other assigned assets.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable DOT, FMCSA, state, local, and jobsite requirements.
• Provide dependable, responsive, and professional service to project teams, vendors, and Equipment Group personnel.
