Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver to transport medical supplies within roughly 200 miles of Columbus, OH. You will work 5 days per week with shifts that may include late nights and early evenings, and you will unload at stops using a pallet jack and liftgate. DOT compliance and safety procedures are mandatory.

The role requires 23 years of age or older, 24–36 months trucking experience, and flexibility to cover 12:00 AM–3:00 AM routes as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL.
• 24-36 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Schedule flexibility is REQUIRED.
• Must be available to work 5 days between Sunday-Friday.
• Dispatch times range from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, depending on route needs.
• Comfort operating a Day Cab with a 53′ Dry Van and Liftgate.
• Ability to perform Touch Freight at each delivery.
• Must have experience using a pallet jack and liftgate.
• Must be comfortable delivering within approximately a 200-mile radius of Columbus, OH.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks.
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months

• Schedule Flexibility Required: Typical dispatch is between 12:00 AM-3:00 AM, but routes may start as early as 5:00 PM

• Touch Freight: Unload medical supplies at each stop using a pallet jack and liftgate
• Safely complete assigned customer deliveries and routes

Requirements
