Job summary

Optimum Staffing , Inc is seeking a Local Class A CDL Driver for local routes in Michigan. The role features a rotating 7-day schedule with early dispatch windows (4:00 AM–10:00 AM) and 9–11 hour shifts, operating a Day Cab with a 53′ Dry Van.

Responsibilities include unloading freight with a liftgate and pallet jack, delivering general goods and clothing, and complying with DOT requirements. Candidates must have 24–36 months of CDL experience and be 23 or older.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 24–36 months of verifiable trucking experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Comfortable operating a Day Cab with a 53′ Dry Van.
• Willing to rotate a 7-day schedule.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screen and background checks.
• No DUIs/DWIs in last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in last 36 months.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Earn $28.00/HR | Average $1,300/WK
• Full-time position with a rotating 7-day schedule
• Dispatch between 4:00 AM–10:00 AM with approximately 9–11 hour shifts
• Operate a newer Class A Day Cab with a 53′ Dry Van
• Deliver general goods and clothing on local routes
• Touch Freight: Unload freight at each stop using a liftgate and pallet jack
• Safely complete deliveries while following all company and DOT requirements

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with 24–36 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience
• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Must be comfortable operating a Day Cab with a 53′ Dry Van
• Must have open availability for a rotating 7-day schedule
• Must be flexible with dispatch times between 4:00 AM–10:00 AM
• Must be willing and able to perform Touch Freight using a pallet jack and liftgate
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
