Job summary

REIC Rentals (Aim High Rentals) in Tabernash, CO is hiring a Class A CDL driver for a local-route position on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will be responsible for delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered gear.

Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, recording equipment conditions, keeping the truck clean, and coordinating with maintenance for required DOT inspections.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum two years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record for previous 3 years.
• Ability to work a local route with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver designated equipment and ensure the operator is familiar with the delivered gear.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Oversee safe loading/unloading and report any safety issues.
• Document working condition of equipment and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Coordinate with maintenance for required inspections as needed.

Are you a Class A CDL driver experienced with hauling heavy equipment with a local route and M-F schedule? If so, REIC Rentals (Aim High Rentals) in Tabernash is hiring!

As a local-route driver, you will be delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:

• Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented.


• Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures.


• Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance.

Top candidates will have:

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required.


• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred.


• Experience driving as Class A CDL in winter weather conditions and in the construction industry preferred.


• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:




• Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance


• Leaving the scene of an accident


• Committing a felony with a motor vehicle


• Reckless driving


• Excessive speed

Physical demands

• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.


• Ability to lift 50 pounds for short periods, often several times per day.
