Job summary

REIC Rentals in Redmond, OR is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver designated equipment to customer sites. This role requires a safe, professional approach to loading, unloading, and equipment handover, with no overnights and rare weekend work.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle appearance, keep current certifications, and communicate clearly with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries and safe operation across OR and WA.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required with manual transmission experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience required.
• Experience in construction is preferred.
• Driving record clean for previous three years (no DUI, no major felonies).

Responsibilities

• Deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA.
• Oversee safe loading/unloading and inspect equipment.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and perform inspections.
• Record/report working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment.

REIC Rentals based in Redmond, is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Schedule M-F (no overnights and rare weekends).

What you will do

As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state. you will be delivering designated equipment as assigned. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:

• Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
• Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
• Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
• Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance

Top candidates will have:

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required with manual transmission experience
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience REQUIRED
• Experience in construction is preferred
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
• Leaving the scene of an accident
• Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
• Reckless driving
• Excessive speed

Physical demands
