Dexter is seeking a Yard Driver to safely move trailers around the yard and keep warehouse operations running efficiently. This role involves positioning trailers at dock doors, staging areas, and parking spots to ensure loading and unloading happen without delays.

Qualifications

• Read and understand work instructions in English
• Valid Class A CDL is required
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from dock doors, staging areas, and designated yard locations
• Position trailers securely at loading docks
• Communicate with warehouse teams and drivers to coordinate trailer moves
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard trucks and equipment
• Track and record trailer locations and movements
• Operate yard trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Report equipment issues, damage, or safety concerns to supervision
• Follow all company, DOT, and safety procedures at all times
