Valet Park of America is seeking CDL Shuttle Drivers for both full-time and part-time roles in Hamden, CT. The position involves local routes transporting college students and faculty, with a flexible schedule to be determined. Shuttle drivers start at $22.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CT CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Valid medical card required.
• Background checks, SORI checks, drug and driving tests will be conducted.
• Must be over 20 years of age due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons politely and assist them as needed.
• Safely shuttle customers to various destinations.
• Open and close doors for patrons.
• Follow traffic laws for safe shuttle operation.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers, including radio contact with management.
• Complete required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
• Record passenger counts and trip times.
• Complete paperwork involved in daily operations.
• Assist with equipment setup and breakdown.
• Operate wheelchair lift and secure chairs as needed.
