Valet Park of America in Hamden, CT is hiring a full-time CDL Shuttle Driver to operate a local, steady route for Quinnipiac University. This position runs weekdays from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential weekend hours if needed.

Required: CDL with passenger endorsement and a valid medical card; background, SORI, drug, and driving checks will be conducted. Competitive benefits after 90 days, including health/dental insurance and paid vacation after one year.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
• A valid CT license with CDL and passenger endorsement is required.
• Background checks, SORI checks, drug and driving tests will be conducted.
• Must be over 20 years of age due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons politely and assist them as needed.
• Safely shuttle customers to destinations.
• Open and close doors for patrons.
• Follow traffic laws to ensure safe shuttle operation.
• Communicate with customers and staff via radio.
• Complete pre-trip inspections per safety requirements.
• Record passenger counts and trip times.
• Complete daily paperwork and assist with setup/teardown.
• Operate wheelchair lift and secure chairs when needed.
• Provide occasional lot-attendant duties when required.
