Job summary

Valet Park of America is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver for a local Hamden, CT route. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with weekend hours possible. The position offers full-time employment with health/dental coverage after 90 days and paid vacation after one year.

A valid CT CDL with passenger endorsement and a medical card are required. Vehicles are newer 25-passenger walk-on shuttles with wheelchair lifts; training is paid and room for advancement is available.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience.
• CT CDL with passenger endorsement and medical card required.
• Must be over 20 years old due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patrons politely and assisting them.
• Safely shuttling customers to destinations.
• Opening and closing doors for patrons.
• Adhering to traffic laws for safe operation of shuttles.
• Communicating with customers and staff via radio.
• Completing required pre-trip inspections.
• Recording passenger counts and trip times.
• Completing necessary paperwork.
• Assisting with equipment setup and breakdown.
• Cleaning shuttles and maintaining cleanliness.
• Operates wheelchair lift as needed and secures chairs.
