Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Norcross, GA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. The role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a defined route.

Responsibilities include visiting 10–12 sites daily, handling drum exchanges, servicing equipment, and generating new leads in the field. Local DOT compliance, safety guidelines, and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries and pickups.
• Follow all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Safely operate company vehicles per DOT standards.
• Observe environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner.
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements.
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class B CDL.
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
