Clean Harbors in Brunswick, OH is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role trains to operate a Class B box truck, service parts washer machines, and pickup hazardous waste within a defined route.

The position offers pay in the recruiting range of $26.00–$28.00 per hour with benefits after 30 days of full-time employment. Training and tuition reimbursement are provided, along with growth opportunities and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions as required.
• Successfully pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Per OSHA respirator standard, facial hair rules for respirator-required positions.

Responsibilities

• Train to drive a Class B box truck and service parts washer machines on site.
• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Sell products/services at customer locations within route.
• Service automotive, fleets, and manufacturing clients.
• Complete daily services, deliveries, and pickups on schedule.
• Follow all local, state and federal regulations and DOT rules.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.

Safety-Kleen in Brunswick, OH is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely mannerFollow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Class B CDL

• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
