Job summary

Amwaste of Georgia LLC is seeking a CDL Commercial FEL Driver / Residential Driver to safely operate waste collection trucks on designated routes and serve customers with professionalism.

Key duties include pre/post inspections, routing per sheets, courteous customer interactions, and accurate reporting. Two years' experience and a Class B CDL are preferred, with no overnight travel required and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Class B CDL required.
• Experience in auto loading garbage trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and report safety issues.
• Safely operate heavy trucks along designated routes to service each customer and the disposal site.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely and professional service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
• Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable materials.
• Clean area around spills following safety standards and policies.
• Maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime and clean waste from equipment after trips.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, DVIR and other required reports.
• Adhere to productivity standards to service customers efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
