Job summary

Alside, part of Associated Materials, LLC, is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to perform local deliveries to residential and commercial sites and support warehouse operations with safety and efficiency.

You will operate vehicles and forklifts, load/unload, and maintain delivery logs while following DOT regulations and PPE requirements. Prior CDL driving experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.
