Job summary

Alside, a leading exterior building products distributor, seeks a Warehouse Driver to support local deliveries for residential and commercial sites. You will operate CDL vehicles, load/unload, and maintain logs, while upholding safety policies and DOT regulations. A clean driving record and customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B required.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 violations in the past 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and read safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely operate vehicles and forklifts; load and unload trucks.
• Maintain checklists and delivery logs; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time delivery.
• Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations while wearing PPE.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager with inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

Physical Requirements

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently
