Job summary

Alside is seeking a Class A/B CDL driver/warehouse associate for local deliveries in Raleigh, NC. The role blends driving duties with warehouse responsibilities in a safety‑driven environment.

You will deliver to residential and commercial sites, operate forklifts, load/unload, and help maintain accurate inventory while following DOT regulations and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B required.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in warehouse operations while following safety practices and PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain delivery logs and checklists.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notify Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience
• Experience with building products is very helpful

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $27-$29 an hour.
