Job summary

Alside is seeking a Warehouse Driver in Fayetteville, NC to perform local deliveries of building products to residential and commercial sites. You will operate box trucks and forklifts, load and unload, and maintain delivery logs while following safety policies.

You must hold a CDL A or B with at least 1 year of driving, a clean record, and the ability to pass a drug screen. High school diploma or GED required; experience with building products is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL class A or B is required.
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, and warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations while following safety PPE rules.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate receiving and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies for handling and load securement.
• Communicate with supply center and customers for on-time delivery.
• Review inventory discrepancies and report to Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.
