Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently pick up items from designated locations, such as warehouses, businesses, or residences, and deliver them to specified destinations according to schedules.
• Properly load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secure and protected from damage during transit.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery deadlines.
• Perform routine inspections of assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, including delivery manifests, invoices, and proof of delivery forms.
• Maintain organized records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Report any issues and accidents to appropriate personnel, i.e. OS&D for claims and management and safety for vehicle related accidents.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers at pick-up and delivery locations.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and safety standards governing the transportation industry.
• Other duties as assigned.
