Job summary

You will follow all traffic laws and company policies, complete delivery documents accurately, maintain vehicle condition, and provide courteous customer service while adapting to varying routes and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in logistics.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

• Flexibility for varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up items and deliver to destinations per schedule.
• Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
• Plan routes to minimize time and fuel with local knowledge.
• Inspect vehicle and report mechanical issues; perform basic maintenance.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately including manifests and POD.
• Maintain records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage.
• Communicate courteously with customers and address questions.
• Adhere to regulations and safety standards (HOS, weight limits, hazmat).
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
