Job summary

R.P. Lumber is hiring a CDL Driver for our Oskaloosa yard. This local, hands-on role delivers lumber and building materials to customer jobsites, loads/unloads products, and helps in the yard when not on a route.

You report to the General Manager and must maintain paperwork accuracy and safety at all times. The role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), a current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and a clean driving record, with weekend/holiday availability and ability to lift 50–100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate or willing to obtain one.
• Acceptable commercial driving record for prior 60 months.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to perform essential physical functions including lifting 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer jobsites using efficient, legal routes.
• Meet delivery schedules and provide professional, courteous service.
• Unload or assist unloading using boom/crane, Moffett, or by hand.
• Follow safety rules at every stop and keep paperwork accurate.
