R.P. Lumber in Fairbury, IL is seeking a CDL Driver to perform local, on-site deliveries of lumber and building materials. You will load, unload, and secure loads, while delivering courteous, professional service to customers on various job sites.

The role includes yard support, paperwork accuracy, and compliance with safety rules. Candidates should have a valid CDL, DOT medical cert, and be ready for a physically demanding, full-time schedule in a regional lumberyard setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air-brake and manual-transmission endorsements preferred.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Acceptable commercial driving record for the prior 60 months.
• At least 21 years of age and able to meet physical demands of the job.
• High school diploma or GED, or related experience, or an equivalent mix.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer jobsites with safe, legal routes.
• Meet delivery schedules and provide professional, courteous service.
• Unload or assist unloading by boom/crane, Moffett, or by hand.
• Maintain safety at jobsites and secure load returns when leaving.
• Assist in yard with inventory, loading, and customer questions.
