GFL Environmental is seeking a Residential Commercial Driver for Weldon, NC. You will operate residential collection vehicles across local routes, collecting waste and recyclables while maintaining a high standard of resident service.

The role emphasizes safety, daily pre/post-trip inspections, and teamwork with helpers and supervisors. CDL is required, with 1+ years of driving experience or a CDL school certification.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience or a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of the cab, work outdoors, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate residential collection vehicles (side-loaders, rear-loaders, automated trucks) on Weldon routes.
• Collect solid waste, recyclables, and yard waste according to daily route sheets.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents and uphold route quality standards.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Coordinate with helpers, mechanics, and supervisors to keep routes running smoothly.
