Job summary

L&W Supply in Providence, RI is seeking a licensed CDL driver for local deliveries. You will operate a delivery vehicle, load/unload building materials, and ensure orders are accurately and safely delivered to sites.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance, and experience with boom trucks or trailer-mounted forklifts. Competitive benefits follow after the evaluation period.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials as required.
• Stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout shifts.
• Lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance when needed.
• Boom truck and trailer-mounted forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicle to/from the delivery site.
• Unload and stock building materials on jobsites as directed.
• Oversee safe loading of the delivery vehicle and ensure order accuracy.
• Safely distribute and place materials as per the order ticket.
• Maintain site safety during deliveries and comply with regulations.
