Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Providence, RI is seeking a Full Time Local Route CDL B Driver to join our growing team. Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30am start. Rate: $25.50/hr.

You will drive a company truck delivering materials to customers and represent the company on every stop. Requirements include a valid CDL B with a clean MVR for the past five years; Rhode Island Hoisting License is a plus. You should be reliable, with strong math and reading skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL B license with a clean MVR for the past five years.
• RI Hoisting License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company equipment safely and maintain product in perfect condition for customers.
• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintain vehicle in proper working condition—conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.
