Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a home daily role in Manassas, VA. The 1st shift runs Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm, with local routes that return you home each day.

You will drive a tractor and 53 ft trailer, follow safety policies, perform routine inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. This position offers full health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and disability benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay rates start at $30.50 per hour plus overtime pay is available after 40 worked hours per week. $3000 referral bonus

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and a safe driving record

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbed)
