48forty Solutions LLC in Indianapolis, IN 46225 is seeking a CDL Driver to perform local truckload deliveries with drop-and-hook operations. This role offers 1st or 2nd shift options, daily home time, and no-touch freight, with pay starting at $28.00 per hour and potential overtime for up to 60 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CDL-A experience within the last 3 years, is 23 or older, and can pass a DOT physical and road test.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid CDL license and pass a DOT physical.
• PSP scores of 10 or below preferred; no major violations in past 3 years.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• Read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle local truckload deliveries; drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within ~150 miles per route, 1–6 routes daily.
• Drive an automatic 53’ truck/dry van for 10–14 hour shifts.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$28.00/hr. - $28.50/hr.

Shift(s):

1st shift Start time 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM up to 14 hours Daily or 60 hours weekly

2nd shift Start time 10:00 AM up to 14 hours Daily or 60 hours weekly

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (150 of miles) making about (1-6 routes daily) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (10-14 hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
