Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver in Nashville, TN for the 2nd shift (4:00pm-Finished). You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, with 3–4 routes per shift within ~150 miles of Nashville, driving a 53’ automatic truck. Must have 1 year CDL-A experience in the last 3 years and be at least 23 with a valid CDL.

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid CDL to operate a CMV.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No disqualifications to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with logistics/warehouse experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$26.00/hr.

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: 4:00pm-Finished

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles of Nashville making about 3-4 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-12 shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
