Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a CDL Driver to join our team in Livonia, MI. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, driving an automatic 53’ dry van on 9–11 hour shifts, with weekends off and home daily.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid CDL and pass a DOT physical.
• No disqualifications to drive and complete DOT road test.
• PSP score ≤10 in past 3 years; higher score reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles; about 2–3 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic 53’ truck/dry van for 9–11 hour shifts.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$26.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 4:00 pm occasional Saturday

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 of miles making about 2-3 of routes routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 9-11 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
