Job summary

Cable-East, Inc. in Statham, GA is seeking a CDL Construction Truck Driver & Laborer. This full-time, hourly role supports construction operations by operating CDL vehicles and performing skilled and general labor on job sites.

The position reports to the Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager and requires a High School diploma, valid Class A CDL, and the ability to work 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with possible overtime, evenings, weekends, or overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience including pulling & staging orders for delivery.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing DOT physical & drug screenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work up to a 12‑hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A CDL vehicles such as dump trucks, flatbeds and water trucks for load runs and deliveries.
• Assist with trenching, conduit installation, backfilling, grading, and site restoration.
• Perform general labor tasks: site cleanup, material handling and equipment setup.
• Maintain vehicle safety with pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep logs according to OSHA/DOT standards.
