Job summary

Cable-East, Inc. is seeking a CDL Construction Truck Driver & Laborer based in Statham, Georgia. The role combines operating CDL-class trucks with hands-on labor to support construction sites, including material delivery and equipment setup.

Typical schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with potential overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel to other sites as needed. Must have a HS diploma or GED and a clean CDL.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean record.
• Experience in warehouse operations and delivering to job sites in metropolitan areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A CDL vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, water trucks) for load runs and deliveries.
• Perform general construction labor tasks: site cleanup, material handling, equipment setup.
• Support safety practices: pre/post-trip inspections, OSHA/DOT compliance, JHA participation.
