Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Delivery Driver with CDL Class B for the Minneapolis, MN service center. The role focuses on face-to-face customer service, on-time deliveries, and maintaining positive customer relations.

You will drive a Graybar truck, load/unload, inspect the vehicle, and work a local route with standard daytime hours, typically Monday–Friday. Ideal candidates have 1+ year truck-driving experience over 33,000 GVW, a valid state license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and PPE.
• 1+ years experience driving a truck or trailer over 33,000 GVW or with self-unloading capabilities.
• Valid driver's license for appropriate vehicle type.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine the best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies.
• Safely operate the vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away.
• Never text and drive.
