Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Delivery Driver to safely operate a company truck, deliver orders to customers and provide friendly, on-time service. This role often follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and you’re home each night.

You will determine routes, load and unload, use forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain truck logs and ensure vehicle safety. Graybar offers comprehensive benefits and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification.
• Experience driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVW.
• Must have a valid driver's license appropriate for type of vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service
• Load and unload trucks and use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Inspect vehicle and supplies
• Safely operate vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper truck logs
• Work a local route - no overnights or weekends away
