Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Delivery Driver to safely operate a Graybar truck or van, deliver orders, and provide excellent customer service. This role typically Monday–Friday daytime and home each night, with employee-owned benefits and growth opportunities.

The position emphasizes route efficiency, vehicle safety, and maintaining positive customer relations. CDL is not required, but DOT medical exam is required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to meet customer expectations.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and PPE.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies for safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs and delivery records.
• Work a local route with no overnights or weekends away.
